The winemaking process for Matarromera Gran Reserva 2000 is meticulous and of high quality. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, the wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for a period of 24 months. This long ageing gives it exceptional aromatic complexity, with notes of black fruits, spices, leather and a touch of balsamic. After ageing in barrels, the wine continues to refine in the bottle for several years, allowing it to reach its maximum expression.
